Call for papers

We are pleased to announce that TILAMSIK: The Southern Luzon Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities welcomes the submission of scientific papers year-round. We welcome contributions from researchers who are not affiliated with the Southern Luzon State University.
Research articles must not exceed 8000 words. The word count must include the reference list, and if any, end note, footnotes, and/or acknowledgements.
The paper shall be structured according to the provided pro-forma. Submissions can be in English or Filipino. Also, kindly fill out the Information Sheet and send it together with your article.

Authors are required to submit using the TILAMSIK Paper Submission Portal. However, the authors should still email the journal editors to inform them of their submission (tilamsikjournal@slsu.edu.ph) with the subject "Journal Submission."
Upon submission, the journal editors will determine whether the paper is aligned with the journal's aim and scope. If so, it will be subjected to a blind peer review process, which normally takes up to 3 months. The review, revision, and publication process normally take up to 6 months to 1 year.
The journal does neither charge any processing, nor publication fees. The contributor will receive two complimentary print copies of the journal.
The journal adheres to the highest quality of academic publishing and does not tolerate plagiarism. Articles accepted for review are first subjected to originality checking. If an article is found to have plagiarized content, the journal editors will not subject it to review and return it to the author. An author who submits plagiarized materials twice will be barred from ever being published in the journal.
The journal reserves the right to retract previously published articles that may have been later found to have questionable research practices as a result of due process. Retractions will also be published for the information of the academic community. Authors of retracted papers will no longer be allowed to contribute to the journal.
