About TILAMSIK

TILAMSIK: The Southern Luzon Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is the refereed, open-access journal of research published by the Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) in the Philippines. The journal was approved as an institutional journal of the University by virtue of BOR Resolution No. 53, series of 2022.

The journal aims to disseminate cutting-edge knowledge in the social science and humanities that may have particular implications for the Southern Tagalog region and its people. It also seeks contributions from researchers in social science and humanities fields such as, but not limited to, art studies, business and public administration, communication, education, history, linguistics, literature, psychology, sociology, and anthropology. Submissions from interested researchers not affiliated with SLSU on the aforementioned topics are welcome.

The journal is indexed in, and published online by, the Philippine E-Journals and Google Scholar. It is regularly published annually, with a print ISSN-1956-1953 and an online ISSN-2467-6209.
